Mark Caplin joined St. Francis Urgent care in March 2015 with over 7 years of experience as a Physician Assistant and an extensive background in Emergency Medicine. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Mark worked as a Paramedic in Alameda County for over 20 years
Mark graduated from the Stanford University Primary Care Associates Program in 2007. He is a CPR Instructor trainer as well as American Heart Association Affiliate Faculty in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Mark is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board.
He is an avid sailor and volunteers with the Pegasus Project, a nonprofit organization in Berkeley that takes children and Veterans sailing on the San Francisco Bay.
